Everything, The hands that raise, grow and pick what Americans eat are the hands the country relies on.
The dogs we rescue are trained to help support Farmers and farm family members with physical, cognitive or illness-related disabilities. Border Collies are trained for cattle management and Labrador Retrievers for agricultural service skills.
These dogs then do what they do best, help rescue the Farmers quality of life.
Disabled Farmers desperately need help. – Rescue dogs desperately need saving.
We are on a mission to change that.
Founder, Jackie Allenbrand created P.H.A.R.M Dog USA with the goal of supporting farmers and farm family members with physical, cognitive or illness-related disabilities.
Our goal is to help farmers with disabilities by providing Farm or Service Dogs trained to perform tasks. Tasks range from managing livestock, retrieving or picking up dropped tools, opening latch gate systems, carrying buckets to bracing farmers with stability issues or running for help when needed.
We believe the powerful bond between our dogs and our farmers not only enhances independence but improves their quality of life and increases economic opportunity.
Help a Dog, Help a Farmer, Change the World.

Farmer, Advocate, Founder & President of P.H.A.R.M. Dog USA
A life-long resident of her community in northwest Missouri, author Jackie Allenbrand has always loved dogs and brought home every stray that crossed her path. With double degrees from North West Missouri State in early childhood administration and elementary and special education, she taught school and coached basketball for eight years until her health required a change of focus.
In 2005, Jackie combined her appreciation for dogs with her passion to support farmers facing illness, injury, or disability, and founded P.H.A.R.M. Dog USA, a non-profit that connects specially-trained dogs with farmers in need of additional help. The proceeds from her first book will go directly to fund this mission.
“I’ve got a soft spot in my heart for lost dogs—all of them have great potential—and for farmers that help feed us every day.”
Jackie has an especially soft spot for her farmer-husband Chris whom she has lived and worked with on their farm for 25 years, raising cattle and growing hay.
